Hi Kevin,
It was EO member Rockape who made us aware of the mining history of the area, sent us some very good info and suggested a book to read. Having come back home we have done some googling to fill in a few of the gaps. I think if we did a return trip we would see a lot more and enjoy it more just because we would be building on the knowledge gained from this trip. There is always more to learn and to see it seems. Certainly we only scratched the surface in this area.
